Auf geht's nach Usedom: eine Rennradtour von Berlin nach Swinemünde

June 26, 2021. Today is finally the day! I'm riding a tour I've been dreaming about for two years, namely to #Swinemünde, on #Usedom (255 km). The route leads through Oranienburg, Liebenwalde, Zehdenick, Templin, then along the Spur der Steine ​​cycle path, Woldegk, Friedland, Anklam, and finally along the Berlin-Usedom cycle path, or rather, the Oder-Neisse cycle path. I really want to cycle along the beach to the German-Polish border one day. The weather is playing along: no rain, sun, and no heat. Only the headwind seems to want to accompany me the whole way, and from Woldegk to Anklam, it slows me down considerably, even though there are no wind warnings announced during the day. Along the way, I also unexpectedly find myself on difficult gravel roads that I should have skipped. The most difficult stretch is between Friedland and Anklam. The roads on Usedom are also very difficult to cycle on, but the scenery is simply breathtaking. I arrive in Świnoujście in the evening – I've done it!
