#Vengurla #officialmastacompany Our journey began early morning at the peaceful Ek Mukhi Datt Mandir. This isn’t just any temple — the idol here is believed to be brought from Narsobachi Wadi and is said to be nearly 1200 years old, with seven divine aspects within one form. that moment didn’t just start our day, it set the tone for the entire journey. From there, we headed towards Kondura Beach, located roughly 20–25 km from Vengurla. And honestly, this place felt like a secret. Clean, quiet, almost private — the kind of beach you don’t usually find anymore. Right beside it was a beautiful cliffside restaurant, Kondura Beach Hotel, built in such a way that one of its tables is shaped like a boat, giving the illusion that it’s floating off the cliff into the sea. It wasn’t a huge cliff, but just enough to give you that surreal coastal vibe. We enjoyed fresh Surmai, local fish preparations, along with refreshing kokum and amla sherbet — simple Konkan food, but full of soul. Then came one of the most surreal parts of our journey — a boat ride deep into the Arabian Sea, around 15–20 km from the shore, towards the Nivati Lighthouse. But this wasn’t just a boat ride… on the way, we witnessed something magical — around 100 to 200 dolphins swimming freely around us. Big, energetic, and absolutely mesmerizing. It felt like the ocean itself was welcoming us. And then we experienced the famous “Matarichi Chul” — a natural phenomenon where seawater gushes through rock formations and shoots out like a fountain on the other side. It’s raw, powerful, and something you truly need to see to believe. After all this adventure, hunger kicked in — and we headed to Nimbus Chinese, known as one of the first Chinese food spots in Vengurla. And surprisingly, the taste was on point. Sometimes, it’s these unexpected places that leave the biggest impression. Later, we reached Khavane, where we went kayaking through mangroves with Khavane Kayaks. As the day went on, we visited Prabhakar Cold Drink — one of the oldest cold drink spots in Vengurla. From classic cocktails to sundaes and ice cream varieties, everything had that nostalgic OG charm that you rarely find today. To end the day, we had dinner at Redkar Bandhu Khanaval — one of the OG खानावळी in the region.
