H.O.R. Siro-Drone | Full Alert | New Palestine, IN (Hancock Co.Tornado Siren Test)

Originally Recorded 6/29/2018 Before I recorded Dunreith's Custer, I stopped by Hancock Country to record their Siro-Drone, with well...the drone. As with most of Indiana, road work was being done on almost every road I drove on that day...Even up to this siren where I was met with blaring machinery and the smell of asphalt. Because of that, I couldn't get the angle I wanted, so I setup near the highway. All the background noise from the traffic and construction was becoming a problem, but once 11 hit, things got a whole lot noisier. I was quite impressed by the sound output of this thing; up close especially. It drowned out all that ridiculous traffic noise and from beneath you could feel the sound pass through you; a great experience from a rare classic.
