Federal Signal 508-128 | Full Alert | New Palestine, IN (Hancock Co.Tornado Siren Test)

Originally I was going to head to a different one, but Indiana decided to fix all its crappy roads at the same time so I got delayed and couldn't go much further. This one is at the New Palestine Christian Church on 650 W., just east of town. You can even hear their T-121 windup in the distance, activated from their legacy system via two-tone. This siren tested a tad late but once it wound up, it was pretty punchy. It's nice seeing a county-wide system that reaches more rural areas with more than 90% coverage. They're not super common besides the occasional nuclear EPZ or a large metro area. Hancock County has a lot of new housing developments spilling over from Indianapolis, so it's a great way to plan for the future as well.
