Atemberaubender Sirenenalarm "Warnung der Bevölkerung" | Probealarm Zivilschutzsirene Siemens E57

One of the most curious siren locations in Germany with incomparable acoustics! In the middle of the Siebengebirge Mountains, a single house stands in the forest between the Nonnenstromberg and Stenzelberg mountains. This is the Waidmannsruh Inn, a rustic inn accessible only by hiking trails. Although it might seem impossible, on the roof of this lonely inn there is actually a siren (type: Siemens E57) from the civil defense stocks, which is still in operation and is part of the official siren network of the city of Königswinter. In this video, the siren can be heard during the district-wide test alarm of the warning sirens in the Rhein-Sieg district on April 10, 2010, with the signal "Warning the population." The special topographical conditions of this siren location create strong reflections that create a breathtaking, eerie sound. At the time of this recording, the siren was still triggered analogically via a 5-tone sequence from the control center in Siegburg. Today, it is controlled digitally via POCSAG. Many thanks to Thomas Becker for providing me with the audio recording of the test alarm! +++++++++++++++++++ Measures to follow when the "Public Warning" signal is sounded: Go to enclosed spaces Close windows and doors Turn on the radio (WDR 2 (100.4 MHz), Radio Bonn/Rhein-Sieg (91.2 MHz - 94.2 MHz - 98.9 MHz - 99.9 MHz - 107.9 MHz) Turn off air conditioning and ventilation systems Listen to messages from warning apps Inform neighbors and, if necessary, record passersby Pay particular attention to loudspeaker announcements (from the fire department, police, etc.) Call emergency numbers 110 and 112 only in extremely urgent emergencies +++++++++++++++++ Video chapters: 0:00 - Intro 0:13 - Documentary / Site presentation 3:07 - Test alarm 5:04 - Outro
