I Tried Cheesie's 22,000 Calorie Grilled Cheese With Nate Figgs… This Shouldn’t Be Possible

🔥Today we took on one of the most insane grilled cheese creations ever at Cheesie’s in Chicago, the legendary Mega Cheesie's Sandwich. With an estimated 22,000+ calories, this massive grilled cheese monster pushed the absolute limits of competitive eating. Joined by Nate Figgs, we attempted to conquer this beast and see what kind of time we could put up. The rules were simple but brutal. You normally get 30 minutes to finish the sandwich, but for every friend you bring, you earn an extra 10 minutes. Nate brought me along, which gave him extra time to try to win this challenge. If we win, we get a $100 gift card, a T-shirt, and unlimited high fives. If we lose, it becomes one very expensive $75 grilled cheese sandwich. The current benchmark time belongs to @corbuccieats with an impressive finish of 18:25. That run set a serious standard for this challenge and showed just how fast this sandwich can actually be beaten by one of the absolute Legends of the Sport. What’s inside the Cheesie’s Mega Cheesie Sandwich: Thick-cut Texas toast American cheese and Merkt’s cheddar cheese Mozzarella cheese Crispy bacon Fried chicken tenders Signature tendy sauce made with BBQ sauce, hot sauce and ranch Cheddar cheese sauce Steak-cut fries layered inside the sandwich Sour cream and chives Extra melted cheese throughout every layer The sandwich was also served with a full pound of seasoned fries on the side.
