We set off from Baños de Agua Santa towards Cuenca, crossing the Ecuadorian Andes for over eight hours, navigating winding roads, high altitude, fog, and landscapes that seemed straight out of a dream. Along the way, we experienced cold, exhaustion, laughter, and the satisfaction of moving forward together, each kilometer bringing us closer to fulfilling our dream of traveling the continent by motorcycle. It was a tough yet beautiful journey, full of contrasts: imposing mountains, villages hidden among the clouds, and a road that demanded the very best from us. But it was also a day filled with unforgettable moments as a couple, where the effort and the beauty of the road blended together to remind us why we embarked on this adventure. Upon arriving in Cuenca, one of Ecuador's most beautiful cities, we felt our exhaustion transform into gratitude.
