Ep 04 | Munda Biddi at 65 - Jarrahdale to Dandalup Hut
Episode 04 of Solo at 65 – The Munda Biddi Journey. Day four began wet and demanding, with a steep climb out of the Serpentine River - much of it pushing the bike up a gravel road. But as the day unfolded, something shifted. The trail began to flow, the riding felt smoother, and for the first time, I started to genuinely enjoy myself. I reached the iconic North Dandalup Dam and stopped for lunch at the picnic area below the dam wall - a quiet, welcome pause in a beautiful setting. From there, I continued on to Dandalup Hut, arriving first and spending my very first solo night in a Munda Biddi hut. This was the day that restored my confidence - not just in myself, but in the trail. After several hard days, it finally felt like things were beginning to come together.
