Ep 07 | Munda Biddi at 65 - Lake Brockman to Yarri Hut
Episode 07 of Solo at 65 - The Munda Biddi Journey. After a restful night at Lake Brockman, I set off feeling ready for the day ahead. What followed was a mixed and demanding stretch of trail - including a brutal diversion up a long, steep, sandy power line easement in dry 33°C heat. The effort quickly drained what energy I had. Fatigue built, doubts crept in, and I recorded one of the most emotional moments of the journey so far - raw, unfiltered, and difficult. Late in the day, I finally reached Yarri Hut completely exhausted. What made the difference was the support of the riders waiting there - encouragement I didn’t realise how much I needed until I arrived. This episode captures the reality of pushing through on a tough day, and the quiet power of shared understanding on the trail. Music: Gavin Luke - Epidemic Sound
