Join us on an unforgettable journey around Arequipa, one of Peru’s most fascinating regions full of contrasts. 🌄 In this travel vlog, we take you through a full day of adventure: from peaceful viewpoints and high-altitude lakes to hidden waterfalls deep in a desert valley — and finally to one of the most important pilgrimage sites in the country, the Santuario de Nuestra Señora de Chapi. 🚗 We start early in the morning, leaving the city behind and heading into the Andes. Along the way, we visit the scenic Mirador de Characato, enjoy a peaceful picnic at Laguna de Uzuña, and try delicious local food like fresh trout. 🥾 But the real adventure begins in Sogay, where we hike through a surprising green valley surrounded by desert landscapes. Crossing rivers, climbing through rough terrain, and discovering hidden waterfalls — this part truly turned into an unexpected adventure! 🙏 The next day, we visit the famous sanctuary of Chapi, a deeply spiritual place that attracts thousands of pilgrims every year. We light candles, say a prayer, and explore both the modern and historic parts of the church. 🌅 On the way back, we stop in Quequeña to visit the impressive Cristo Redentor de Quequeña, where we end the day with a breathtaking sunset over the valley.
