Gyakute-dori kotegaeshi - 逆手取り小手返し - Aikido Virtual Dojo
In this video we present the technique Gyakute-dori kotegaeshi. We explain the principal movements and show potential mistakes in a funny way at the end. Gyakute-dori is a crossed one-handed wrist grab. In many Aikido techniques this attack allows us to practice ways of freeing our wrist from the grab. Kotegaeshi is the iconic Aikido technique through which we can practice projections into a high fall - both on nage and uke side. We can finish this technique with uke descending gently to the ground and being immobilized, or with a projection into a high fall. ___________________________ Royalty Free Music from www.bensound.com
