300vdc External DC filter - Inside with schematic

When you need some extra DC filtering from your power supply for your vacuum tube projects but don't have enough space left inside your to install extra filter caps and supporting parts, why not build yourself an external DC filter like I recently built for my 12at7 regen? In the next video i will take apart the external DC filter so you can see what i did to build this new addition to the shack! As the old saying goes "If you need something bad enough, build it yourself!". SAFETY WARNINGS: I would seriously suggest that you install a fuse in series with the DC input from your power supply before or inside the DC filter, or at the very least make sure your power supply is well protected in case of accidents such as a broken wire inside the filter unit. Also make 100% sure you make solid connections inside your DC filter, the last thing you want is for that DC voltage to come in contact with the aluminum cabinet or what ever you choose to build circuit into, in which case the cabinet will become energized and could shock or kill you! Lethal voltages will be present inside your external DC Filter that will shock or KILL you when powered up by the external power supply in use, never open the device while powered, and make sure the filter capacitor's are fully discharged before making any circuit changes. DISCLAIMER: I take no responsibility for no accidents you may have if you choose to build this circuit, you do so at your risk!
