Roots of Resilience Project : Peer To Peer Learning Workshop

At the Association of Women in Agriculture Kenya, we are relentlessly committed to breathing life back into degraded landscapes. But creating lasting, generational change means we never stop learning. We were honored to be part of an intensive 5-day peer to peer workshop in Nanyuki to accelerate our ongoing Roots of Resilience Restoration Project whose main objective is the restoration of degraded landscapes and empowerment of the community’s livelihoods through sustainable agroforestry in the Greater Rift Valley regions of Bavuni, Nakuru County Throughout the workshop, restoration champions exchanged critical, on-the-ground realities: analyzing what worked, confronting what didn’t, and discovering actionable methods to adapt locally. Being part of this peer-to-peer initiative was deeply inspiring. Hand in hand, we are nurturing a locally driven restoration movement that spans the continent. When #RestorationChampions come together, something powerful happens! 🌱
