Between 1960 and 1975, Graupner produced many groundbreaking designs that were record-breaking not only in terms of popularity but also in terms of sales figures. Many model builders associate these models with their youth, tight budgets, and the somewhat bumpy start to our fascinating hobby. Radio control technology and reliability were still in their infancy, and what was described in catalogs as "quick-build kits" now seems almost laughable. Nevertheless, many early model builders fondly remember this eventful period. Many now want to fulfill childhood dreams that were once unaffordable. This is what accounts for the great success of today's retro trend. Therefore, we would like to dedicate our reports to these models.
