1st Sambar Backpack trip 2025. Day 3, (Bailing out)

Inched out the time for a 3 day backpack trip, this area is one of the most famous hunting areas in Victoria, so needless to say we weren't alone! in fact we found 20 other hunters before we camped the first night. The river was slightly in flood so we weren't able to stick to the original plan of starting in the dark as it was just to risky. I also wasn't able to check out some of the areas i wanted once we were upstream. crossing the river wasn't too hard, but i did end up with wet balls looking for the shallow alignment for the others. Day 3 found us bailing out after a sleep in, i had managed to get some charge into the main go pro battery for the trip out so i was able to grab some footage. this concludes this trip, we learn a lot about the area but have decided that we will check out a few more before committing to one. in fact by the time, you see this I'll be out on the next one!
