What you need 2-1/2 Teaspoons Active Instant Yeast 1 Cup Warm 2% milk (110° to 115°) 3 Large Eggs (room temperature) 2 Tablespoons Butter 1/4 Cup Sugar 1 Tablespoon Salt 3 Cups All-Purpose Flour Egg Wash 1 Large Egg Yolk (room temperature) 1 Tablespoons Water Sesame Seeds What you need to do Heat milk, sugar, and butter in a pot on the stove (a microwave-safe bowl) until the butter begins to melt. Stir. The milk should be around 115-120 degrees. This should take around 2 minutes (90 seconds in microwave) In a large mixing bowl combine the flour, yeast, and salt. Pour the milk mixture into the dry ingredients. Add eggs and mix well. Mix until soft dough forms. The dough will be soft and slightly stickier than other yeast bread. Turn dough out on a lightly floured surface and knead for 3 minutes. Place dough in an oiled bowl and cover it with plastic wrap and a cloth. Let rise in a warm location for 1 hour.(we place ours in the oven with the light on) After 1 hour - Punch the dough down to release air Shape to fit in your loaf pan and place in a greased or parchment lined bread pan. Prepare egg wash and brush top of loaf. Spread Sesame Seeds on top of the loaf Cover pan with plastic wrap and cloth and allow them to rise for an addtional 30 minutes.
