Sumac Chicken; A Delightful Blend of Sumac, Saffron, and Onion

Sumac Chicken 😋😊 Marinate the chicken pieces with saffron. Chop three large onions and fry them until golden. Add salt and turmeric. Once the onions are well fried, add one tablespoon of tomato paste and one tablespoon of mild (sweet-sour) pomegranate paste. Immediately add two tablespoons of sumac powder. Don’t worry—the onions balance the sourness of the sumac. Arrange the chicken pieces in the pan and fry them lightly. Then add two cups of boiling water to the sauce and a little more saffron.
