Cuisine historique [Part 1] : Que mangeait-on au Moyen-âge ?

What did people eat in the Middle Ages, and how? Did nobles gorge themselves at banquets while peasants starved? Did spices mask the horrible taste of rotten meat? To answer all these questions, I went to the Arkéos Archaeological Park Museum in Douai, in the Nord department. Using experimental archaeology, the renowned food historian Fabian Müllers reveals what medieval cuisine was really like. Like many things from this era, stereotypes abound.
