Chief of Staff of the Army Attends Graduation Ceremony of Staff College Course No. 85 at Al-Rustamiyah Camp On Monday, June 15, 2026, the Chief of Staff of the Army, Lieutenant General Abdul Amir Rashid Yarallah, attended the graduation ceremony of Staff College Course No. 85 at Al-Rustamiyah Camp. He was received by the President of the National Defense University for Military Studies and the Dean of the Staff College. The ceremony, which was attended by a number of senior commanders and officers from the Ministry of Defense and representatives of relevant branches, began with the playing of the national anthem, followed by a recitation of verses from the Holy Quran and the reading of Surah Al-Fatihah in remembrance of the martyrs of the Iraqi Armed Forces. Afterward, the Dean of the Staff College delivered a speech on this occasion, reviewing the importance of the course and its curriculum and training programs, which contributed to developing the leadership and operational capabilities of the graduates, thus enhancing the efficiency of the Iraqi Army personnel and their ability to carry out their assigned tasks.
