Chief of Staff of the Army Attends Graduation Ceremony of the 85th Joint Staff Course (Shield of the Nation) In the presence of the Chief of Staff of the Army, the Head of the Counter-Terrorism Service, the Secretary General of the Ministry of Defense, and a number of senior officers, the Staff College celebrated the graduation of a select group of officers from the 85th Joint Staff Course, entitled "Shield of the Nation," on Monday, June 15, 2026. The course lasted for two academic years. The ceremony witnessed the graduation of a distinguished group of officers from various branches and military formations, who successfully completed the course requirements under the guidance of a distinguished faculty. The 230 graduating officers received various military sciences during the course, including theoretical and practical staff duties, as well as their participation in war game exercises and scientific seminars, which contributed to developing their leadership skills, enhancing their abilities in planning and managing the battle, as well as making sound military decisions in various circumstances.
