Red Social: una historia de la vida (casi) real | José Luis Cañizares | TEDxPUCE

Why don't we approach social media like a streaming platform? This is one of the questions posed by José, known in the TikTok world as @graciasaljose. We are people creating personas that we present on social media. A communications graduate with a specialization in journalism, radio, and television, he began his career in media. He later worked for the Presidency and the Ministry of the Interior. In 2021, he started working at Comciencia PUCE. In this lab, he began telling science stories through TikTok, with videos of less than 60 seconds that shared the knowledge generated at the university. At the same time, he began creating content on his personal accounts, such as @graciasaljose. This January, he celebrated his first year online with a community of 230,000 followers.
