A member of the Mexican Navy, identified as Cristian Tello, died after being wounded during a fierce confrontation near El Recodo, Mazatlán. According to those who knew him, he was remembered as a cheerful man, a good husband, son, and father of three children. His death has caused great sorrow among family, friends, and fellow members of the Navy. In the same incident, two other Navy personnel, identified as Jesús Alberto and Jesús Adrián, remain hospitalized receiving medical treatment.
