Essential to modern construction, cement is responsible for a significant part of the world's CO2 emissions and, for this very reason, its industry is, more than ever, committed to the issue of sustainability. Among the 40 largest companies in the sector globally that have committed to achieving carbon neutrality by 2050 is the Portuguese company Secil.
