EAGLET FALLS AGAIN! 😲 SURVIVES SECOND FALL!! AS IT TRIES TO REACH THE NEST | ROYAL OAKS WA

🦅 UPDATE: ROYAL OAKS NEST | VANCOUVER, WASHINGTON Meet Justice and Liberty and their two eaglets, Harmony and Peace. Harmony hatched on March 28, 2026, and Peace hatched on March 29, 2026. In my previous video, I shared that one of the eaglets had survived a fall from the nest yesterday and spent the night on a lower platform beneath the nest. At the time, the eaglet appeared alert, mobile, and uninjured. Unfortunately, the story has taken another turn. Today, the eaglet was on the move and had successfully navigated across the branch toward the tree trunk. It appeared to be exploring its surroundings and possibly searching for a route back toward the nest. A food delivery was later made to the nest for its sibling. Following the activity above, the eaglet appeared to turn around and look for a way higher into the tree and closer to the nest. While attempting to reposition itself, the eaglet lost its balance. For a moment, it managed to hang on with one foot. Unfortunately, it could not regain its footing and fell once again, this time to another, lower branch in the tree. The good news is that the eaglet appears to be okay following the second fall. At approximately 70 days old, the eaglets are now 10 weeks of age, placing them at the very beginning of the normal bald eagle fledging window, which typically occurs between 10 and 13 weeks. It may not know it yet, but it is capable of flight at this age. Royal Oaks is aware of the situation and continues to monitor the eaglet closely. We will continue to follow this developing story and provide updates as more information becomes available.
