Happy Birthday my angel ❤️🥰❤️ **650 km, four countries, three climate zones, two mountain passes, and a crazy idea. Cycling across the Alps – Stage Naturns → Merano → Nals 🚴‍♂️⛰️** Good morning from *Naturns in beautiful South Tyrol* 🌄 After a peaceful night at *Waldcamping* and a really lovely international evening, we're starting a new day of cycling on the **Via Claudia Augusta**. The first leg of the day takes us leisurely to *Merano* – only about 15 km away. Perfect for an Italian start to the day: *Cappuccino ☕, breakfast, and a stroll through the arcaded streets.* Merano is showing off its best side: palm trees, mountains, historic houses, and Mediterranean flair in the heart of the Alps. 🇮🇹🌴 Then we continue along the Adige River towards Bolzano. The bike path winds through endless apple orchards, small villages, and offers fantastic views of the surrounding mountains. Along the way, there's everything that makes a cycling trip perfect: snack bars, fruit stands, apple juice breaks, and of course, little technical stops – this time even new screws for our GoPro. 📷😄 The landscape gradually changes. The Apple Road gradually transforms into the famous South Tyrolean Wine Road 🍇. In the evening, we finally reach Nals – and luckily find a small, cozy campsite: Camping "Zum guten Tropfen" 🍷⛺. A perfect place to arrive, cook, have a beer, and wind down after a day of cycling.
