Synopsis: Despite being surrounded by concrete housing all around in modern-day Singapore, Kampong Lorong Buangkok fiercely retains its traditional roots, evident in the rustic wooden huts and strong 'kampong spirit' reflected by the older residents. Three generations of a typical kampong family which has been intimately affected by modernization voice their thoughts on what has been and will be, giving a rare glimpse into kampong life in 21st century Singapore.
