Countries around the world have closed their borders to migrants fleeing war, natural disasters and poverty. Many from Africa, Nepal, Cuba and Haiti have made their way north to the Canadian border in search of a better life. Their journey most often starts in South America, and the long treacherous route crosses 10 countries, vast jungles and dangerous borders.
