This gentle Yin yoga class helps you loosen up your back and keep it supple. In this class, you stretch your lower back, upper back, and even your hips and hamstrings. After all, your hips and hamstrings are the cause of many back problems. Yin Yoga is a gentle, calm form of yoga in which we hold poses for a long time. This form of yoga focuses less on your muscles and more on your tendons, ligaments, and energy channels. If you have mild back problems, this is a nice class to do. If you have a stiff back or often suffer from back pain, do this class regularly to prevent back pain. However, in case of severe back problems, consult your doctor to see if it is safe to do yoga. It is always nice to do yoga, but even if your English is good, a yoga class spoken in Dutch is sometimes just a little easier to follow. You can focus on the yoga pose without having to constantly look at the screen. Hence this online yoga class, in addition to the English and Italian yoga classes we offer on our other channels. We have been teaching yoga for over 10 years. All our Vinyasa flow yoga classes are structured to be safe to do. No complicated transitions or dangerous poses. We want you to do yoga now, but also in 10 years' time. Unfortunately, as a massage therapist, I am seeing more and more clients with yoga injuries. Yoga is healthy; yoga does not injure people, people injure people. That is also why we opt for full yoga classes and not for 'pieces'. To stay healthy and reap the benefits of a yoga class, you simply have to do a whole class. Your body needs time to prepare for more complex and deeper poses / yoga postures. We take that time for this in our classes. Hopefully, you will allow yourself that time too, because only then will you reap all the benefits that yoga has to offer. Have fun.
