In the name of the Father, and of the Son ✠, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. 🛐 ACT OF CONTRITION “My Lord and my God: I firmly believe that you are here, that you see me, that you hear me. I adore you with profound reverence. I ask your forgiveness for my sins and the grace to make this time of prayer fruitful. My Immaculate Mother, Saint Joseph, my father and lord, my guardian angel: intercede for me.” 🙏 OPENING PRAYER O God, infinitely holy and glorified by your saints, you who inspired the holy monk and hermit Charbel to live and die in perfect likeness to Jesus, granting him the strength to separate himself from the world in order to make the heroism of the monastic virtues triumph in his hermitage: poverty, obedience, and chastity, we implore you to grant us the grace to love and serve you following his example. Oh! Almighty Lord, who manifests the power of Saint Charbel's intercession with numerous miracles and favors, grant us this difficult and urgent grace that we so need in these difficult times: (specify everything you wish to achieve with the novena) and that we implore through his intercession. Amen. THIRD DAY O Saint Charbel, friend, who shone like a bright star in the midst of the Church, illuminate my path in this life and strengthen my hope, as I invoke your intercession to obtain the grace I ask for (make the request). I ask this in the name of Christ crucified, whom you have always served. Amen. O Saint Charbel, model of patience and silence, pray to the Lord for me. O Lord Jesus, who sanctified Saint Charbel and helped him carry his own cross, give me the courage, through the intercession of Saint Charbel, to bear all the contradictions and difficulties of my life with patience and docility to Your divine Will. To You be thanks now and forever.
