Magistrados del Tribunal de Bogotá no apoyarían medida cautelar contra campaña de De la Espriella

The precautionary measure adopted by Judge Rafael Chavarro against Abelardo de la Espriella's presidential campaign, which prohibits the use of national symbols and the phrase "Firm for the Homeland," has generated controversy within the Superior Court of Bogotá itself. According to reports in recent hours, Judges Rodrigo Ávalos and José William González will not support Chavarro's position when the Labor Chamber reviews the case in depth, a decision that could be reached before Friday. Meanwhile, the legal action filed by De la Espriella's lawyer, Calderón España, is progressing, and the National Electoral Council is also expected to issue a ruling soon, given that it previously endorsed the use of that image and slogan, considering that they did not constitute an improper use of national symbols for campaign purposes.
