Visiting This Country Is Like Going Back In Time! 🇪🇷 (#175)

This place isn't Italy. It isn't Cuba, and it's not the Middle East either. This is Eritrea, and there's nowhere else like it on earth. Due to a history of colonization by Italy and near-constant war with it's neighbor Ethiopia, this country has a very distinctive look--and it feels like it hasn't changed in 50 years. After visiting the capital city of Asmara, it was time to tour the entire country. We would visit lands that very few foreigners have seen--at least in the last 30 years. Ruins and remains from the Ottomans, Egyptians, Italians and Ethiopians lay waiting to be explored, as if they were destroyed just yesterday.
