This time, I visited Okunoshima — also known as Rabbit Island 🐇 Last time I went just for a day trip, but this time I stayed overnight at the island’s only hotel. A few weeks before my visit, the port had some trouble and the island was closed for about two weeks. Maybe that’s why the rabbits were extra excited — running up to me everywhere, asking for treats! Since I stayed the night, I could also spend time with them in the quiet hours — at night and early in the morning.
