RARE DISCOVERY: Montgomery KONE EcoDisc Elevator @ Saks Fifth Avenue, Somerset Collection South

Filmed with Samsung Galaxy S9 on August 29, 2019 This is one of the two elevators at Saks Fifth Avenue at Somerset Collection South, in Troy, Michigan. It's a very late Montgomery KONE with an EcoDisc motor. This is the first recorded Montgomery KONE elevator with an EcoDisc motor. In this video you can clearly hear the distinctive EcoDisc brake, and the indicator and chime behavior is just like other EcoDiscs, with the number changing before the elevator starts moving. This is not like other Montgomery KONE elevators. This is definitely a Montgomery KONE, labeled so on the phone box and all interlocks. This is probably the oldest KONE EcoDisc in North America. The others previously thought to be the oldest are all at least a year newer than this one. This may or may not be MRL.
