Scenic Montgomery KONE Traction Elevators @ Macy's, Somerset Collection North, Troy, MI

Filmed with Samsung Galaxy S9 on August 1, 2021 These are the elevators in the Macy's store at Somerset Collection North. These are some amazing scenic Montgomery KONE lifts from the late 1990s. These quick Monty KONEs easily handle the demand of Metro Detroit's busiest Macy's store, and provide nice views from their open shaft in the center of the store. They have red Innovation buttons, and are among the last lifts with Montgomery's vacuum fluorescent indicators. These are easily my favorite elevators at Somerset Collection. The left car's service cabinet was left unlocked, so I briefly demonstrate independent service in this video.
