Ballarat to Kyneton - ANZAC Day Drive 25 April 2026

This drive is the journey from Ballarat to the picturesque town of Kyneton (approx. 86km northwest of Melbourne and approx. 77km north of Ballarat). Kyneton is a historical Gold Rush town located within the ‪@macedonrangessc‬ and has a population of 5,151 as of 2021 (ABS). This drive was on the ANZAC Day (April 25) of 2026 on a gorgeous, sunny 24-degree afternoon. Towns travelled include Kyneton, Lauriston, Glenlyon, Daylesford, Blampied, Newlyn and Dean, after commencing our journey out of Ballarat through the suburbs of Brown Hill, Ballarat East and Golden Point.
