Kyneton to Ballarat via Daylesford - Easter Sunday Drive 5 April 2026

This drive is the journey home back to Ballarat from the picturesque town of Kyneton (approx. 86km northwest of Melbourne and approx. 77km north of Ballarat). Kyneton is a historical Gold Rush town located within the ‪@macedonrangessc‬ and has a population of 5,151 as of 2021 (ABS). This drive was on the Easter Sunday of the Easter long weekend of 2026 on a gorgeous, sunny 25-degree afternoon. Towns travelled include Kyneton, Lauriston, Glenlyon, Daylesford (with a stop off at the Daylesford Markets), Blampied, Newlyn and Dean before arriving back in Ballarat through the suburbs of Brown Hill, Ballarat East and Golden Point.
