Avoca to Kyneton via Moliagul - King's Birthday Drive 9 June 2025

Heading back to Kyneton on a damp, cold King's Birthday morning. We start our journey just south of Avoca and head north to Moliagul through Bealiba. This video includes a segment of some photos taken from the day, as well as historic ones. The rest of the drive takes us through Dunolly, bypassing Maldon before heading onto the Calder Freeway to Kyneton. Moliagul is a tiny town with a population of 80, located in the ‪@centralgoldfieldsshirecoun8328‬. Moliagul is a historic gold rush town. Notable for the discovery of several gold nuggets.
