#30 - Slow Burn

Single Kettlebell | Beginner–Intermediate | Tempo-Based Lifts This one isn't about moving more weight — it's about moving the weight slower. Every lift is done on a deliberate tempo, and that changes everything. Time under tension goes up, momentum disappears, and suddenly a light bell feels a whole lot heavier. There are two big reasons to train this way. First, tempo builds motor control — slowing a lift down forces you to own every inch of it, which is one of the best ways to clean up form and fix the spots where reps usually fall apart. Second, it's how you bridge a gap. If a heavier bell isn't quite there yet, taking your current weight and slowing it down lets you build the strength and control to reach the next level — no ego, no rushing. Workout (complete one side, then switch): Single Arm Racked Squat × 5 Bent-Over Row × 5 Single-Leg Deadlift × 5 Overhead Press × 5 Overhead Reverse Lunge × 6 (alternating — 3 each side) 4 rounds total (2 each side) Control the tempo on every rep — slow on the way down, no bouncing, no rushing the turnaround. The goal isn't to finish fast, it's to make a light weight honest. If it feels easy, you're going too quick. #kettlebelltraining #strengthtraining #kettlebellworkout #tempotraining #timeundertension #singlearmtraining #motorcontrol #beginnerworkout #kettlebellforbeginners #strengthcoach #functionaltraining #movementtraining #strengthandconditioning
