Alexander Bertianus Koroh, MPM, at the VIP area of ​​El Tari Airport in Kupang on Monday, May 18, 2026. The body arrived from Jakarta and was immediately greeted by the Governor of East Nusa Tenggara, Emanuel Melkiades Laka Lena, along with heads of regional government agencies within the NTT Provincial Government and extended family who had been waiting in mourning. In a silent and respectful atmosphere, the Governor of NTT and members of the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) paid their respects in the VIP arrivals hall of El Tari Airport as a token of appreciation for the deceased's dedication to his life as a civil servant and state servant within the NTT Provincial Government. The ceremony was marked by a moment of silence as a symbol of deep sorrow and respect for the deceased's services to the region and the people of East Nusa Tenggara. The body was then transported to the deceased's residence in Kayu Putih Village for burial. The Deputy Governor of NTT, Johni Asadoma, and the Deputy Governor's wife, Vera Asadoma, were present to receive the deceased and pay their respects at the funeral home at approximately 11:20 a.m. WITA (Central Indonesian Time). The presence of these regional leaders emphasized the shared grief felt by all levels of the NTT Provincial Government over the passing of one of its finest officials. The deceased's body departed from Jakarta accompanied by representatives of the Ministry of Villages, Development of Disadvantaged Regions, and Transmigration of the Republic of Indonesia, through Farida Sijabat, Echelon III from the Directorate General of Economic Development and Investment for Villages and Disadvantaged Regions. The Ministry also expressed its special concern for the passing of the deceased, who during his lifetime was known for his strong dedication to strengthening the development of villages and underdeveloped regions. In fact, the ministry stated that an agenda the deceased was supposed to attend in person in Jakarta had to be postponed out of respect for his passing. For this attention and respect, the NTT Provincial Government expressed its appreciation and gratitude to the Ministry of Villages and Development of Disadvantaged Regions of the Republic of Indonesia. The deceased is known to have passed away while on duty in Jakarta while carrying out his mandate to serve the region. He was born in Kupang on April 27, 1970, and is survived by his wife, Mrs. Dra. Yenny C. M. Izaac, M.Sc., and two beloved children, Angel Bright Koroh, S.Psi., and Alwellson Koroh. During his lifetime, the deceased was known as a calm, highly dedicated individual with a strong commitment to public service, particularly in the areas of community empowerment and village development in East Nusa Tenggara Province. His passing leaves deep sorrow, not only for his family, but also for the NTT Provincial Government and all civil servants who recognized his sincerity and loyal service.
