Gubernur & Wakil Gubernur NTT hadiri Upacara Peringatan Hari Bhayangkara ke-80

Kupang, Wednesday, July 1, 2026 East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Governor and Deputy Governor Attend 80th Bhayangkara Day Commemoration Ceremony East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Governor Emanuel Melkiades Laka Lena, along with NTT Deputy Governor Johni Asadoma, attended the 80th Bhayangkara Day Commemoration Ceremony, themed "80 Years of Service, Polri for the Community," at the NTT Regional Police Bhayangkara Field on Wednesday (July 1). The ceremony took place solemnly and was led by NTT Regional Police Chief Inspector General Rudi Darmoko, as the ceremony inspector. Also in attendance were representatives of the NTT Provincial Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda), members of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and the Indonesian National Police (Polri), heads of vertical agencies, heads of regional apparatuses, community leaders, and invited guests. In his address, the NTT Regional Police Chief emphasized that Bhayangkara Day is not merely a commemoration of the National Police's birthday, but also a moment of reflection to strengthen the commitment to service to the nation and state. "Bhayangkara Day is not just a commemoration day, but also a moment for all of us to reflect on the dedication of the Indonesian National Police (Polri) to the community, nation, and state," emphasized the Regional Police Chief. The Regional Police Chief conveyed that the Indonesian National Police (Polri) remains committed to being a professional and humane institution, supporting national development through synergy with the government and all elements of society. He stated that the strength of the Indonesian National Police lies in public trust, therefore, all personnel are required to continuously improve, adapt to current developments, and be part of the solution to various problems faced by the community. Furthermore, the Regional Police Chief urged all Polri personnel in the East Nusa Tenggara region to continuously improve the quality of public services, strengthen synergy with all stakeholders, maintain security and public order, enhance professionalism, and avoid all forms of ethical and disciplinary violations. Concluding his address, the NTT Regional Police Chief conveyed his congratulations on the 80th Bhayangkara Day to all Bhayangkara personnel and urged all Polri members to continue serving with enthusiasm, dedication, and integrity in providing the best service to the community. Following the ceremony, the 80th Bhayangkara Day commemoration continued with various attractions performed by Indonesian National Police personnel and a thanksgiving event held in a spirit of camaraderie. These activities served as a token of gratitude for the Indonesian National Police's eight decades of service and strengthened the synergy between the National Police, local governments, the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), and all elements of society in maintaining security and order, and supporting development in East Nusa Tenggara Province.
