A Time Remembered the Terminal Island Story
In the early 1920's to the 1940's, Terminal Island California housed a vibrant community of nearly 3,000 Japanese and Japanese-American residents. It had grown out of a small Japanese fishing village whose settlers helped launch a booming industry for canned tuna. World War II would bring and end to this community. All rights reserved.
