Seventy years on, the question of who was at fault has never been fully settled. This documentary reconstructs the collision using the ship's original engineering plans, examines the competing radar theories that emerged after the disaster, and follows the passengers and crew through the night of the rescue — one of the largest civilian sea rescues in history. All animations in this film were built by hand from the Andrea Doria's original plans.
