In this Albania travel vlog, I spend a Friday morning walking through Vlore, one of the most interesting coastal cities on the Albanian Riviera. This is not only a beach stop: Vlore has coffee culture, markets, shops, sea air, and relaxed Mediterranean energy. I start with one goal: explore Vlore properly. The city is busy, locals are out, cafes are full, and the streets feel alive without feeling too polished or expensive. Eventually I arrive on Bulevardi Ismail Qemali, one of the main roads in Vlore, full of restaurants, coffee shops, stores, and everyday Albanian city life. Vlore is a strong base for local food, walkable streets, and access to the Riviera. My next stop is Kafe 1912, a coffee shop opened by two American YouTubers. Inside, I feel like I found a small corner of the USA in Albania: Americans, coffee, travelers, creators, and digital nomad energy in the middle of Vlore. After coffee, I need to exchange money. I ask people at the cafe for tips, then walk toward the bank. But on the way, Vlore gives me something better than a normal errand. I turn into a street full of small shops and market stalls. Locals sell things for the home, olive oil, food, and everyday products. It feels traditional, raw, and very Albanian — the hidden side many visitors miss. Because I am Albanian myself, I can speak with locals and understand the rhythm of the place. The market feels friendly, chaotic, human, and real — the side of Albania that is more than turquoise water and cheap hotels. Then I return to the main road and continue my money exchange mission. The bank withdrawal does not work, so the search continues until I finally find a place to exchange money in Vlore. This video is perfect for anyone searching for Albania travel, Albanian Riviera vlog, Vlore vlog, things to do in Vlore, coffee shops in Albania, digital nomad Albania, remote work Albania, budget travel Europe, Balkan travel, Albania food, local market Albania, and hidden gems in Europe. ☕ In this video: • Walking through Vlore on a Friday morning • Bulevardi Ismail Qemali city walk • Visiting Kafe 1912 in Vlore • Meeting Americans and fellow YouTubers • Coffee culture in Albania • Local market streets and Albanian food • Talking with locals • Trying to exchange money Vlore is not just a stop on the way to the beaches.
