On this experience, we traveled to #Apetlanca, a town in the municipality of Cuetzala del Progreso, in northern #Guerrero. This town calls itself the cheese capital, and with good reason: delicious artisanal cheeses are made here, from the traditional queso de Cincho and queso añejo, to requesón and other dairy products, using traditional methods passed down from generation to generation. Furthermore, Apetlanca is also the land of mezcal, a product that is part of its identity. We visited various factories where mezcal is produced from different varieties of maguey, and met the families who keep this tradition alive. Amidst aromas, flavors, and landscapes, this tour took us on a journey through the processes behind each bottle and each piece of cheese.
