The clients for this project are dog lovers, green enthusiasts, down to earth doctors, and peace lovers, all of whom are committed to living a sustainable lifestyle. The design brief for House of Greens reflects the values and personality of these clients, calling for a sustainable green home with an abundance of greenery. The project is a 4 BHK home surrounded by lush greenery, providing a seamless connection to nature both visually and physically. The concept of the house was carefully thought out to ensure that every space had the experience of a garden, from the living and dining area that connected seamlessly to the landscape, to the master bedroom with a secluded balcony directly in contact with nature. The design process was meticulous, with a focus on natural materials such as laterite stone cladding, natural granites, and wooden doors and windows. The home was well-ventilated, with ample natural light and ventilation, creating a positive and pleasant atmosphere. Upon entering the home, a warm welcome awaited visitors in the form of a Krishna Idol in the foyer, and a double-height living space that opened up to the rear garden, providing a sense of visual connection to nature. The first floor featured a master bedroom with a secluded balcony, while the second floor housed a bedroom and gym with a terrace garden, creating a sense of being grounded amidst the elevated landscaping. The "House of Greens" was a true embodiment of the client's vision - a serene and beautiful home that seamlessly integrated with the surrounding natural environment. The design of House of Greens incorporated eco-friendly materials and energy- efficient technologies to reduce the environmental impact of the home. The use of natural lighting, passive heating and cooling systems, and rainwater harvesting will further contribute to the sustainability of the home. Additionally, the incorporation of a variety of indoor plants, a rooftop garden, and a lush backyard will bring the beauty of nature into the living spaces, creating a tranquil and peaceful environment for the residents. The design of House of Greens will not only fulfill the functional needs of its residents but also reflect their deep connection to nature and their commitment to sustainable living.
