Tea & Tranquility begins with the land itself. What started as a hidden hillside discovery becomes a carefully shaped retreat where the architecture never overwhelms its setting. Instead, it follows the slope, preserves existing trees, and allows the tea garden landscape to remain the primary experience. At the heart of the project is an infinity pool that does not impose geometry on the site, it adapts to it. Its organic curve wraps gently around mature trees, turning water into a reflective extension of the tea estate. Sky, greenery, and pool merge into a continuous horizon that shifts with mist and light. The villa is composed as a series of calm thresholds rather than fixed rooms. Indoor and outdoor spaces flow into each other through terraces, courtyards, and open edges, encouraging a slower rhythm of living. The experience is less about moving through architecture and more about arriving into moments of stillness. Material choices remain grounded and regional with stone, natural textures, and locally informed craftsmanship that age quietly over time.
