In the name of the Father, and of the Son ✠, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. 🛐 ACT OF CONTRITION “My Lord and my God: I firmly believe that you are here, that you see me, that you hear me. I adore you with profound reverence. I ask forgiveness for my sins and the grace to make this time of prayer fruitful. My Immaculate Mother, Saint Joseph, my father and lord, my guardian angel: intercede for me.” 🙏 OPENING PRAYER O God, infinitely holy and glorified by your saints, you who inspired the holy monk and hermit Charbel to live and die in perfect likeness to Jesus, granting him the strength to separate himself from the world in order to make the heroism of the monastic virtues triumph in his hermitage: poverty, obedience, and chastity, we implore you to grant us the grace to love and serve you following his example. Oh! Almighty Lord, who manifests the power of Saint Charbel's intercession with numerous miracles and favors, grant us this difficult and urgent grace that we so need in these difficult times: (specify everything you wish to achieve with the novena) and that we implore through his intercession. Amen. DAY TWO O Saint Charbel, martyr of the monastic life, who experienced suffering and whom our Lord Jesus made a beacon of light, I now come to you and ask that, through your intercession, you obtain for me from God the grace I ask of him (make the request). I trust in your intercession. Amen O Saint Charbel, vessel of sweet aroma, pray to the Lord for me. O God of mercy, who glorified Saint Charbel by giving him countless graces to perform miracles, have mercy on me and grant me, through his intercession, the favor I now ask.
