Learn the moveable guitar lick used by AC/DC, Hendrix, the Beatles, and more

Learn the moveable guitar lick used in "I Feel Fine", "All Along The Watchtower", "You Shook Me All Night Long", and many other songs. This is one of many riff and lick shapes you can find in my free web app "The Building Blocks Of Rock", available here: https://guitarviz.com/bbr.html It's just a web page, all you have to do is open it. Nothing to download, and you don't need to sign up for anything. In the first part of the video you'll learn how to use this lick to move into several other positions, including the "Albert King" and "BB King" shapes used in many blues and rock songs. We'll cover how it fits into scales and theory, and see how it can work in both major and minor. The second part of the video is a lesson on how to play this lick in "All Along The Watchtower" and "You Shook Me All Night Long", where I'll also review the first half of the solo. All of the lesson is filmed up close, from the player viewpoint, and includes the pick hand. Please leave any comments or questions. I do read them all! cheers, Kevin 0:00 intro 0:32 what's in this video 1:10 double-stops 1:43 how to play it 2:32 some song examples 5:28 use it to move up the neck 6:22 how to match the key or chord 8:21 how it fits into scales and theory 9:59 I Feel Fine 10:21 You Shook Me All Night Long 11:11 All Along the Watchtower 12:46 Heartbreaker 13:51 lick lesson: Shook Me 16:40 lick lesson: Watchtower 20:07 coda and more info
