What kind of legacy are you leaving behind? The truth is that, as parents in general and fathers in particular, you are trendsetters, legacy makers, and cycle breakers. God has blessed you with the wonderful opportunity and privilege of having children, which carries with it the responsibility of training our little ones to become not only responsible and productive adults, but also legacy makers for their own children. However, there is a battle going on for the next generation. The enemy seeks to remove the God-appointed head of the household so that he can gain easy access to disrupt the lives of the remaining family members, especially the children. Therefore, as fathers, we are called to live a life that knows the way, shows the way, and goes the way that God has ordained for us. When we faithfully follow Christ, we leave behind more than memories—we leave a legacy of faith, blessing, strength, and victory for our children and generations to come. Let us choose to follow Christ wholeheartedly so that we can leave a godly legacy for our families. God bless you perpetually!
