If we look with our natural eyes, we see problems. We see bills that need to be paid. We see situations that haven’t changed. We see doors that look closed. We see delays, setbacks, and uncertainty. And if we feel — and we all feel — we feel pressure. We feel stress. We feel fear about what’s ahead. We feel disappointment when things don’t go our way. We feel tired, even when we’re trying to stay strong. That’s what we see. That’s what we feel. It takes a lot to overcome our senses. It takes faith. Even in the midst of the storms that we are seeing and the pain that we are feeling, God is performing the unseen. The peace that passes all understanding, the hope that comes from His Word. Let God help us focus from the seen to the unseen this week.
